Privacy notice
Version 2026-10-29. Applies to AMPP training registrations on corrosionindia.com, the AGEP alumni discount, proforma invoices and ICCI Jobs.
corrosionindia.com is run by AGEP India Pvt. Ltd. (Institute of Corrosion Control India, "ICCI"), C12 Godavari, Laxmi Industrial Premises, Vartak Nagar, Thane 400606, Maharashtra, India. For payments in US dollars, invoices are issued by EAC International LLC, USA.
What we collect
- Training registrations: name, email, phone, date of birth, gender, nationality, qualification, AMPP ID and membership status, course choices, billing name and address, PAN and GST number, lodging and food preferences.
- AGEP alumni discount: your email, and if you give them, your previous AGEP course, batch and AMPP certificate or member number.
- ICCI Jobs: job seeker profiles (name, contact details, location, experience, certifications, skills and CV) and employer accounts (company, registration number, contact person and details). See the ICCI Jobs privacy notice.
- Security records: a record of your consent (date and notice version), and short-lived technical data such as your IP address (often only in scrambled form) to stop spam and abuse.
Why we use it
- To process your registration and enrol you on the course.
- To issue proforma invoices, invoices and receipts, and meet accounting and tax rules.
- To verify your AMPP membership or certification, and your AGEP alumni status.
- To contact you about your course, and (on ICCI Jobs) to match you with vacancies.
We use your data only with your authorisation, which you give by ticking the consent box when you register or sign up. We never sell your data.
Who can see it
- ICCI / AGEP India staff who handle training, invoicing and support (and EAC International LLC for USD invoices).
- AMPP, only where needed to enrol you in a course or exam, or to verify a certification.
- Employers on ICCI Jobs: only employers you apply to, and approved employers in candidate search if you keep "Visible to employers" switched on in your profile.
- Service providers that help us run the site and deliver email (for example our form provider, our email provider and our web host), only to provide that service.
How long we keep it
- Registration and invoice records: as long as accounting and tax law requires (normally 8 years).
- AGEP alumni list: for as long as you are an alumnus, unless you ask us to remove you.
- ICCI Jobs accounts: until you delete your account (you can do this from your profile) or ask us to.
- Spam-protection records: a few days at most.
How we protect it
Applicant data is stored outside the public website folders, is never published, and is available only to signed-in staff. Pages are served over HTTPS.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete your data, or to withdraw your consent, email info@corrosionindia.com. If you withdraw consent we may not be able to complete a registration that is in progress; records we must keep by law are kept until that period ends.
