ICCI Jobs privacy notice

ICCI Jobs is run by AGEP India Pvt. Ltd. (Institute of Corrosion Control India) and is free for everyone. There are no fees, payments or subscriptions for employers or job seekers.

AGEP is not a recruiter

AGEP is not a recruiter or placement agency and is not hiring for any of the roles listed on ICCI Jobs, unless a vacancy is clearly posted by AGEP itself as the employer.
ICCI Jobs is only a free platform. It pools corrosion, cathodic protection, coating and inspection jobs from public job sites and company careers pages, and each pooled listing links back to the original ad. It also lets organisations post vacancies and search candidate profiles.
Candidates apply directly with the employer, on the original site or through the employer's own vacancy here. All hiring decisions and all communication about a job are between candidates and employers.
AGEP does not verify every listing, does not charge candidates or employers, and is not responsible for the content of third-party ads or for any employer's hiring process. If a listing looks wrong or asks you for money, please tell us at info@corrosionindia.com.

What we store

Job seekers: name, email, phone, location, preferred countries, experience, certifications, skills, summary and your CV.
Employers: company name, GST or trade licence number, country, website, contact person, phone and email, plus the vacancies you post.
Anonymous visit statistics (page viewed, rough country, device type and referring site) so we can see how the portal is used; we do not store your IP address for this.
Basic security logs (IP address for rate limiting, kept for 24 hours).
A record of your consent: the date and the version of this notice you agreed to.

Why we use it

To run your account and show your applications to the employers you apply to.
To match job seekers with vacancies and send job alerts you switch on.
To verify certifications (for example with AMPP, only where needed) and to approve genuine employers.
To contact you about your account and keep the portal safe from spam and fake recruiters.

We use your data only with your authorisation, which you give by ticking the consent box when you sign up (or once on your profile, for accounts created earlier). We never sell your data.

Who can see it

Your CV and contact details are never public. Approved employers whose vacancy you applied to and ICCI administrators can see them. While "Visible to employers" is on in your profile (it is on by default), approved employers can also find your profile and download your CV through candidate search. You can switch this off at any time.
Jobs from other websites link to the original posting; when you apply there, that site's privacy policy applies.
ICCI / AGEP India staff who run the portal, and service providers that host it and deliver email, only to provide that service.

How long we keep it

Your account, profile and CV: until you delete your account (from your profile page) or ask us to delete it.
Security logs: 24 hours. Anonymous visit statistics: kept in aggregate.

How we protect it

CVs and contact details are stored outside the public website folders, are never published, and are only shown to signed-in users who are allowed to see them. The portal runs over HTTPS.

Your choices

Edit your profile or replace your CV at any time.
Job alert emails are off unless you switch them on.
Delete your account from your profile page; this removes your profile, CV, saved jobs and applications.
